Hi :) I’m Daria Zlobinskaya!

A photographer & traveller drawn to nature's shapes & patterns, the fine details of our natural world.

My work starts with curiosity. I’m fascinated by the shapes, patterns, and textures found in nature, and I like to turn them into abstract images that invite a moment to pause and look a little closer. I’m drawn to the corners of the world that still feel untouched by people; from Antarctica to wherever the next trip leads… and I love setting myself a challenge along the way.

I never leave the house without having at least one camera on me. Whether it’s a single petal or a vast, empty horizon, I’m always looking for the same thing: form, light, and the small details most people walk past.

Most of what shapes the world happens without an audience. Ice fractures, petals dancing in the wind, waves reflecting the vivid hues of a sunset, a droplet holding its own weight, a slow, unwitnessed craftsmanship that asks for nothing and answers to no one.

I photograph that quiet work. Not to document it, but to hold it still long enough to feel it; to isolate a form until it slips loose of its name and becomes something closer to music: rhythm, interval, repetition.

The further I go from cities, the clearer this language becomes. In the places that remain untouched, the patterns are unhurried and unhidden; they were never made for us, and that is exactly what moves me about them. I hope to carry a little of that attention back, to offer an image as a kind of stillness, and an invitation to notice what usually passes unseen.
